Frequently asked questions
Clear expectations make learning easier. Here are the details designers most often want before choosing a course.
Who are these courses for?
They are designed for curious beginners, independent designers, educators, and experienced creators who want a more deliberate way to test decisions.
Do I need a finished game idea?
No. Several courses begin with a theme, a question, or a rough mechanic. Advanced pathways are more useful when you already have a playable prototype.
What does self-paced mean here?
Self-paced courses provide a sequence of lessons and exercises you can complete on your own schedule, with clear artifacts for each stage.
Are live playtests included?
Workshop and mentored formats may include scheduled studio activities described in their catalog listing. Every course includes guidance for arranging your own tests.
How do I choose a starting course?
Start with the stage of your project: foundations for a new idea, prototyping for a rough concept, playtesting for evidence, or production for a clearer release plan.
Can I track courses for later?
Yes. Select Track in the catalog. Saved IDs stay in your browser’s local storage and appear on the Fallows page.
Can I add a course to the cart without paying?
Yes. The demonstration cart stores selected course IDs and quantities locally. Checkout only opens a confirmation modal because no payment service is connected.
Do you promise a published game?
No. We teach methods and provide structured practice; outcomes depend on each designer’s project, time, testing, and decisions.
How can I ask about accessibility or fit?
Use the contact form with the course name and your question. The studio can explain the learning format and available materials.
